Angela Voigt is a German athlete who competed mainly in the Long Jump.
Voigt set a long jump world record of 6.92 at Dresden in May 1976 but it was broken ten days later by Siegrun Siegl. Siegl finished fifth in the 1976 Montreal Olympics, while Voigt won the gold with a leap of 6.72. Kathy McMillan, who eventually finished second, had a longer jump which was deemed a foul.
