Angel of Retribution is an album by Judas Priest, released in 2005. It marks the return of Rob Halford, after a 12 year hiatus. Impressively, the album debuted at #13 on the U.S. Billboard chart, making it the highest-ranking album the band has released to date (by comparison, British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance and Turbo had only achieved #17 after their respective debuts). It also marked the first time Judas Priest have been the number 1 artist on a national chart (in Greece).

- The album reached the 1st position of the Greek Charts in 2005. It is the first time ever that a "Priest" album reaches the 1st position worldwide.

- Some songs in this album reference other Judas Priest songs. For example, in the song "Demonizer", the lyrics read "Hellions the steed", a reference to the song, "The Hellion." In addition the lyrics on this song reads "The Painkiller rises again" which is a reference to the song "Painkiller." Also, in "Hellrider," the lyrics read "Time to ram it down, judgement of the Tyrant", references songs "Ram it Down" and "Tyrant". In "Deal with the Devil", a lyric holds the phrase, "The Blood Red Skies", a reference to a Judas Priest song with the same name. In "Eulogy", they reference Stained Class.
And it also mentions in Deal With The Devil there long time rehearsing studio "Holy Joe's" in which they rehearsed their "Rocka Rolla", "Sad Wings of Destiny" & latter parts of "Sin After Sin." Albums
