Angel Williams (known by fans as simply "Angel") is a Canadian professional wrestler and valet. On December 22, 2004 she signed a developmental contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In the summer of 2005, she was assigned the WWE's new developmental territory Deep South Wrestling, LLC in Georgia for further training.

Angel debuted in wrestling in 2000 and worked for Independent promotions around Canada, she was first a valet for various wrestlers such as Chris Sabin and Eric Young and then began to train under Rob Fuego and became a wrestler as well as a valet. Angel had feuds with Tracy Brooks and 21st Century Fox among others on the Independent circuit. After working out hard on her body, Angel developed a new more muscular look and started sporting braided hair. She was working for promotions around America when the WWE spotted her and signed her to a developmental contract.

Angel Williams occasionally accompanied Johnny Parisi to the ring. On September 8, 2005 Angel won her first match in Deep South by defeating Michelle McCool. On September 22, 2005 Angel was scheduled to wrestle against McCool but Michelle never showed up. Instead Daisy Mae came out and challenged Angel. Of course Angel defeated Daisy Mae giving Angel 2 wins and 0 losses at Deep South. However, on December 8, 2005, at the TV Tapings, she got pinned by Tracey Taylor (from Hawaii), in what people said was a very good match. As of December 8, 2005 her winning streak was 2-1. At the January 19, 2006 Deep South TV Tapings, Angel and Trenesha attacked Kristal Marshall in the ring, but later Michelle McCool and Tracey Taylor came and saved Kristal. After McCool and Taylor came to the ring, Angel, Trenesha, Tracey and Michelle brawled in the ring. At the February 16, 2006 Tapings, Bill DeMott was waiting to make the announcement about a tournament for the Deep South Tag Team Championship. Angel interrupted him and was soon followed by Michelle McCool, Kristal Marshall, and Tracey Taylor. They demanded a female spot for the tournament but were silenced by The Gymini. At the April 27, 2006 DSW TV Tapings Angel was doing special commentary for the second half show. At DSW she got the name "Queen diva". At the August 3, 2006 DSW TV Tapings, during intermission Angel almost got in a catfight with fellow Deep South Diva Luscious. At the August 10, 2006 DSW TV Tapings Angel managed Krissy Vaine during her match against Shantelle Taylor. During the DSW taping on August 26, 2006 Angel almost got into another catfight with Luscious. At the September 14, 2006 Deep South TV Tapings Angel participated in a Bikini Contest in which it was won by Tracy Taylor. On the September 21, 2006 DSW TV Tapings, Angel won a Bikini Contest. Other participants were: Luscious, Krissy Vaine, Shantelle Taylor and Tracy Taylor. On September 28 2006 DSW TV Tapings , Angel returned to action in a Tag Team match with her and Krissy Vaine defeating Tracy Taylor and Shantelle Taylor. Later that night after an interview with Daniel Rodimer he grabbed her by the hand and lead her to ringside with him. At the October 5, 2006 DSW TV Tapings, Shantelle and Tracy Taylor def. Angel Williams and Krissy Vaine in a tag team match, but it was later over turned by Matt Striker disqualified Tracy for pulling Angel's tights when scoring the pinfall. During November of 2006 Angel started managing The Gymni.

[edit] Knee Injury

Even though Angel was injured at the February 9, 2006 DSW TV Tapings, she participated in the first ever Bikini Contest in DSW. She didn't reveal her bikini because Palmer Cannon interrupted, which led to a match that featured him and Tommy Dreamer. During the match she couldn't physically get involved, so she walked backstage. On February 28, 2006, she underwent knee surgery to repair her torn ACL. By May of 2006 Angel had recovered from her knee injury.
