Anelia Nuneva

Anelia Nuneva (Bulgarian: Анелия Нунева) (born June 30, 1962) is a retired sprinter from Bulgaria. Competing mainly in 100 metres, she was headed for a medal at the 1988 Olympics when she pulled a hamstring and withdrew. She competed again in 1992, but finished eighth. Her greatest moments came when she won silver medals at the 1986 European Championships and 1987 World Indoor Championships.
