Athos (
) is the Home planet of the Athosians in Stargate Atlantis. It was one of the planets culled every few hundred years by the Wraith. The Athosians once lived in a ruined city on the planet and were technologically advanced. They still possess some advanced technology, but due to the threat by the Wraith, they were living in a pre-industrial culture, in portable camps which they moved to confuse the Wraith.
Athos was the first planet visited by the Atlantis expedition, when they were looking for a safe site to evacuate the city. However, the planet was atacked by the Wraith, and the survivors were evacuated to Atlantis. They lived in the city for 3 months, but eventually moved to the planet's mainland.
