  • Chron X was released in May 1997 by Genetic Anomalies. After beta testing the product, I was hired as associate producer one year later. When Genetic Anomalies closed in January 2003, I formed a company to continue the product. The game remains online now, having celebrated its ninth anniversary in May 2006.

[edit] The Name Change

I am transgender. Specifically, a male-to-female transgendered woman, diagnosed with gender identity disorder in 1999. I have been transitioning since 2001.

I was born "Anthony Paul Shubert" in March 1975. I didn't feel "right" as early as age two, but didn't pursue those feelings until age 19. Several years of denial and therapy later, I've found a better place. I went public with my transition in 2003, and legally changed my name in January 2004.

Unfortunately, many former customers of my games don't understand my transition. The only reason this page exists is because in its absence, someone posted incorrect "facts" and I fear that would continue.
