[edit] Rewrite

Much like Galambosianism, this article took a drastic turn for the worse with recent edits, which add nothing but remove plenty. I've reverted them, pending some good explanation for why these removals and the added advertisement are necessary. JRM · Talk 14:54, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Galambos and Wikipedia

I removed this:

Galambos would never have agreed with Wikipedia's concept of free access to the world's knowledge, without the corresponding concept of respect for the property rights of innovators for each concept in every article of Wikipedia; thus Galambos would have been insistent that no article could exist without a citation for each concept in each article.

This smacks of spoon-feeding and self-referential navel gazing. It is most probably true, but it is not an externally verifiable statement, and probably does not belong in an encyclopedia article. It's unclear that we should draw conclusions for the reader like this. JRM · Talk 14:58, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
