Talk:Andrew Collins

[edit] Disambiguation
Two different writers by the name of Andrew Collins have Wikipedia pages. The elder, who writes about the paranormal, has his page at Andrew Collins (author) at the moment, while the younger, who has a more diverse oeuvre (autobiography, biography of Billy Bragg, episodes of EastEnders, Doctor Who short stories) is at Andrew Collins. This doesn't make much sense, since there's not really much of a distinction between "writer" and "author". However, I don't really know enough about either of the Andrews to suggest a more precise disambiguation scheme. I suggest we move the younger Collins to Andrew Collins (broadcaster), since it seems he's at least as well known for his radio work. However, I'm not sure whether the elder Collins needs further disambiguation or not. We could call him Andrew Collins (paranormal writer), but that sounds a bit like it's suggesting that he's paranormal himself rather than merely writing about the subject. Any suggestions? (I'll also leave notes at Talk:Andrew Collins (writer) and Talk:Andrew Collins (author).) —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 00:27, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
