Andy Taylor (footballer)

Andrew Taylor (born March 14, 1986 in Blackburn) is a young English footballer who is currently on the books at Blackburn Rovers. He is a defender, and attended St. Bedes RC High School in Blackburn.

Andy is a promising product of Blackburn Rovers Youth Academy; he has represented England at both under 19 and under 20 level.

Andy Taylor signed a new three-year deal with Blackburn Rovers in September 2005.

Although he is yet to feature in a first team game for Rovers he has recently been awarded the number 26 jersey for the 2005-06 season due to his good progress at the club. in February 2006, he joined Blackpool on loan.

He has now joined Crewe Alexandra on a one month loan deal
