Andy Payton, born October 23, 1967 in Padiham, England is a former professional footballer who played as a striker.
During his career he played for Hull City, Middlesbrough, Celtic, Barnsley, Huddersfield Town, Burnley and Blackpool, before ending his career in non-league football with Stalybridge Celtic and then Colne.
He was a crowd favourite at Turf Moor and is regarded as one of the best strikers to play for Burnley in recent years.
