Andy Cooke (born 20 January 1974 in Shrewsbury) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Shrewsbury Town.
Cooke started his professional career at Burnley making 172 league appearances scoring 51 goals before joining Stoke in 2000 making 88 league appearances scoring 21 goals before moving to South Korea in 2003 joining Pusan I'cons.
On his return to England in 2005, Cooke signed for Bradford City, playing 37 games scoring 5 goals. He had a spell on loan at Darlington before signing for Shrewsbury.
Cooke made his Shrewsbury debut on August 26, 2006 as a half-time substitute for Kelvin Langmead in the 1-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers. He started the next match (0-1 vs Lincoln) and in his third match scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win against Stockport.
