Andy Clyde

Andy Clyde (Birthname: Andrew Clyde b. March 25, 1892 in. Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland - d. May 18, 1967 in Los Angeles, California) was a movie and TV actor whose career spanned forty years. Andy Clyde became one of the few actors who survived the talky revolution.
In his career, Clyde is best remembered for his roles as the comedic relief sidekick usually teaming with William Boyd in the Hopalong Cassidy series or with Whip Wilson in low-budget western movies playing the character, "Winks".
After retiring from movies in 1956, Clyde became a TV actor, appearing in shows such as Lassie and The Real McCoys. Clyde died in 1967 while still active.
Clyde has a "star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
