Andrew White (musician)

Andrew White is the guitarist in the English band, Kaiser Chiefs. He is left-handed and so uses a left-handed guitar. He is self taught and blagged his way into his first band by saying that he already knew how to play. He is an original member of the band Runston Parva, who became Parva, who became Kaiser Chiefs. Also known as 'THE DUX' for his academic performance while at school. He went to Leeds Metropolitan University and gained a HND in The Built Environment. He is a former 'Yorkshire BMX' champion. Andrew White is affectionately known as "Whitey", and is a vegetarian. The rest of the band say he is the funniest member of the band, and also the quietest. They say he is too grown up and they are all too giddy. Whitey has a passion for scooters and is a member of the York Scooter Club. Whitey is famous for wearing his winter beanie a lot of the time.

To earn some extra money while not touring, Andrew White has an ice cream cart where he sells Whitey's Premium Soft White Stuff. The popularity of this business is mainly due to the fact that customers can compose their own ice cream with various flavours.
