Andrew Solomon is a writer who wrote for the New York Times Magazine as well as for other publications. He is also a novelist and graduate of Yale University who is heir to the fortune of his father, Howard Solomon, Chairman of Forest Laboratories. He is known for his chronicling of his extreme depression and has been profiled by the Village Voice, the New York Times, and other publications.
