- Andrew H. Hamilton (Indiana) (1834–1895), was a member of the United States House of Representatives.
- Andrew J. Hamilton (1815–1875), was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and provisional governor of Texas.
- Andrew Hamilton was a juror in the Haymarket Riot trial of Illinois v. August Spies (1886). At the time, he was the owner of a hardware store in Chicago.
