Andrew James Hall (born July 31, 1975, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa) is a South African cricketer and member of the South African cricket team since 1999. He made his ODI debut against West Indies at Durban and Test debut against Australia at Cape Town in 2002 scoring 70 runs in his maiden Test innings.
Andrew Hall was the victim of a robbery at an automatic teller machine in 1998 or 1999, during which he was shot in his left hand. However the incident has developed into an urban myth in which the extent of his injuries are greatly exaggerated.
In 2005 he was an overseas player at Kent, returning for a part of 2006 before returning to South Africa for their two-Test match series against Sri-Lanka.
