Andrew Garcia

Andrew Garcia was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 who died on September 11, 2001 when the aircraft crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is believed that Garcia fought back against the terrorists on that flight. Garcia was 62 years old and a resident of Portola Valley, California. Garcia was an industrial products salesman who become a grandfather for the first time 8 months prior. He left a wife, son, and two daughters. His son, Andrew Garcia Jr., told the Los Angeles Times that, "He's not only my dad but my best friend."
