Andrew Driver

Andrew Driver(born 12 November 1987, in Oldham) is a English professional footballer who currently plays for Scottish Premier League team Heart of Midlothian.

Driver was originally with Oldham Athletic's youth initiative but left when his father's work caused the family to relocate to Edinburgh, where he joined Hearts. He first made his mark on Hearts' pre-season tour of Austria where he started all 3 friendlies, creating four goals in the process with his direct play and crossing ability. He made his home debut in the league on 26th August 2006 against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, coming on as a substitute with 15 minutes to go and scoring four minutes later.

In August 2006 Driver signed a five year extension to his contract with Hearts, committing him to the club until 2011.
