[edit] Career

Since 2001 Dickinson has juggled his career as a doctor with his wrestling hobby. He began wrestling at a club in Stoke while studying medicine at Liverpool University and made his pro debut in January 2002 in a 4-way elimination match where he faced off against Silver Shadow, Johnny Phere and Five Star Flash. In 2004 Dickinson signed up with the Future-Shock Wrestling School in Beswick, Manchester.

One of his firsts big breaks saw him compete in front of 3,500 fans at a star-studded wrestle festival in Coventry wrestling under the name Dirk Feelgood. He would continue to wrestle for many independent promotions in the United Kingdom including his sucessful time with the Allied Independent Wrestling Federation-Great Britain promotion. While in the AIWF-GB, Dirk Feelgood would regularly team with Johnny Phere as Pleasure & Pain and win several titles.

Dickinson made his best known appearances within the Frontier Wrestling Alliance company. While in the FWA, Dickinson would incorporate his doctor career into part of his gimmick. Renaming himself Dr. Dirk Feelgood FWA's Chief Medical Officer, he would go on to form a stable with Dr Jason Allbetter and Nurse Stephanie Scope called The Young Doctors.

Outside the FWA, Dickinson would continue to compete on the independent circuit as Dirk Feelgood. Feelgoods best known independent appearances have been in the Garage Professional Wrestling promotion where he would win its International Heavyweight title and form a tag team with Bubblegum; known as The Remarkables.
