Andrew Crofts (born 20 May 1984 in Chatham) is a Welsh professional footballer currently playing for Gillingham.
A midfielder by trade, Andrew made his debut for the Gills at the age of 16 and 337 days at home to Watford in 2001. He has progressed through the Welsh international ranks, from U19 to his full international debut in the 2005/2006 season. He is currently contracted to Gillingham till 2009, a contract awarded to him by former Gills manager Stan Ternent in January 2005.
On 24 May 2006, Crofts captained the Welsh under 21 side as they won 5-1 over Estonia [1].
He made his full Welsh international debut as a substitute against Azerbaijan on Wednesday 12 October 2005 in the final World Cup qualifying Match, and won his 3rd cap in the 2-1 friendly win over Trinidad & Tobago, in which his then Gillingham team-mate Jason Brown also played [2].
