Andrew Bridge (basketball)

Andrew Bridge (born October 5, 1979 in Chesterfield, England) is a British professional basketball player, and currently plays for the Newcastle Eagles in the British Basketball League.

The 6ft3 in shooting guard started his career with Mansfield Express in 1998, before stepping up to professional basketball with the Sheffield Sharks in 2000. In 2002, the England and Great Britain international moved further north to play for the Eagles.

Andrew was part of the Bronze medal winning England national basketball team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, and completed a succesful season with the Eagles "clean sweep" of Championships in 2006.
