Andrej Komac

Andrej Komac (born 4 December 1979) is a Slovenian footballer player from Maribor, Slovenia, who gained his reputation with Hit Gorica. He also played for CS Marítimo where he has gained attraction from clubs like Sporting Lisbon, Newcastle United, and Borussia Dortmund. He is also widely compared to Zlatko Zahovic for their similar style and the fact that both were Slovenian. He's currenty playing for Swedish team Djurgårdens IF Fotboll.

Komac has represented Slovenia on many occasions. from Under-15 to senior level he was also part of the World Cup 2006 team that failed to make it to Germany.
