Andrei Dapkiunas

Andrei Dapkiunas (Belarusian language: Андрэй Дапкюнас, b. April 11, 1963, Minsk) is the accredited ambassador to the United Nations from the Eastern European country of Belarus. Dapkiunas is also the Executive Board President of the UN's children's fund, UNICEF. Before being sent to the United Nations in 2004, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He holds a political science degree from the Belarusian State University and two degrees in French and English from the Minsk State Institute for Foreign Languages.
