Andreas Jämtin (born May 4, 1983, in Danderyd, Sweden) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player with HV71 in Elitserien.

[edit] Playing career
Jämtin is a right winger with jersey number 50. Despite his size he is very aggressive and plays with lot of intensity. He skates hard and never gives up, he can score and will not back down a fight.[1] Detroit Red Wings' assistant general manager Jim Nill said "he's a pest on the ice" about Jämtin's playing style.[2]
Jämtin was drafted in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings with their 5th round pick, in the 157th overall selection.[1] For season 2006-07 Jämtin waited for contract offers from NHL but due to not receiving any offers signed a one-year contract with the Swedish club HV71.[3] As of July, 2006, he is an unrestricted free agent in NHL.[2]
