Andrea Prinz von und zu Leningen, styled HSH Prince Andreas of Leningen is the brother of Prince Karl Emich of Leiningen and was born on November 27, 1955. He is the son of Emich, Fürst zu Leiningen and Eilika, Duchess of Oldenburg. Through his father, he is a descendent of Queen Victoria, through her granddaughter, Princess Victoria Melita of Edinburgh. Because of this, he is in the line of succession to the British Throne. He is currently 111th in line.
He married Princess Alexandra of Hanover on October 5, 1981. They have three children, Prince Ferdinand of Leiningen (b. 1982), Princess Olga of Leiningen (b. 1984), and Prince Hermann of Leiningen (b. 1987).
