Andrea Zonn

Andrea Zonn is a singer and virtuoso fiddle player who grew up in Champaign, Illinois. She grew up in an environment surrounded by music. She sings, and plays classical violin, and country and bluegrass fiddle. Andrea first met Alison Krauss at a fiddle contest at the Champaign County Fair when she was 10 (and Alison 8). Zonn joined the band Union Station as their fiddler, but was replaced when Krauss joined the band.[1]
Andrea is a member of the band of Vince Gill, has been touring with James Taylor, and has sung with people such as Randy Travis, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Susie Luchsinger, Bart Millard and George Strait. She has played on recordings by people such as Amy Grant, Alison Krauss, Bart Millard, Lyle Lovett and Neil Diamond.
Andrea has been working on the Hands Across the Water project, with her partner John Cutliffe, producing a collaborative CD to raise funds for Asian tsunami of December, 2004.
