On January 22, Marian Van De Wal performed three candidate songs in a sho hosted by Meri Picart & Josep Lluís Trabal. A combination of SMS Voting and a professional jury selected "La Mirada Interior".

Marian Van De Wal is originally from the Netherlands, but for the last six years, she has lived in Aldosa in the Principality of Andorra, where she runs a small hotel (Residència l'Aldosa).
