Anders Eriksson (born January 9, 1975, in Bollnäs, Sweden) is a professional Swedish ice hockey player with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL.

[edit] Playing career
Eriksson is a big defenseman who has great offensive skills, but is known to make mistakes on defense.[1] He was drafted 1st (23rd overall) in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by Detroit Red Wings, after being discovered by pro-scout Wilson McCutchan.[citation needed]
In the NHL Eriksson has played for the Detroit Red Wings (4 seasons), Chicago Blackhawks (3 seasons), Florida Panthers (2 seasons), Toronto Maple Leafs (2 seasons), and Columbus Blue Jackets (1 season). He has also played for St. John's Maple Leafs, Syracuse Crunch, and Springfield Falcons of the AHL.[1]
After a two-year absence from the NHL Eriksson re-signed with his latest NHL club Columbus Blue Jackets on July 1, 2006, for a one-year deal.[2]
