AncientGarurumon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. He is an Ancient Beast Digimon with the power over light. He was one of the Ten Ancient Warriors that saved the ancient Digital World from Lucemon's treachery. In this battle, he and AncientGreymon endured until the very end. Prior to the said battle, he and AnicentGreymon fought another monster, Ornismon & sealed it. The power AncientGarurumon possessed now lives on in Koji, who wields the Spirits of Light created by AncientGarurumon.

[edit] Digivolution
AncientGarurumon was never given a precise evolution line in the anime. In the card game, however, he may evolve from MetalGarurumon or WereGarurumon.

- Absolute Zero: Fires a blue ball from his mouth that freezes his enemy.
- Sharpness Claymore: Grasping his swords, he rushes at the enemy, stopping in front of them while lifting the massive swords into the air, then crashes them down in two parallel diagonal slashes.

AncientGarurumon only appears as a shadowy figure in episode 38 of Digimon Frontier when the DigiDestined are informed about the history of the Digital World.
[edit] Island of Lost Digimon
Bearmon's prayer allowed both the Spirits of Fire and the Spirits of Light to become AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon to fight Ornismon. The two ancient Digimon were finally able to destroy the powerful evil Digimon once and for all.
[edit] Digimon Battle Spirit 2
In the Game Boy Advance game Digimon Battle Spirit 2, AncientGarurumon appears as a "finishing" move for Lobomon. If Lobomon fills up his power meter, he can warp digivolve into AncientGarurumon, and slashes his swords at his opponents.
