Dr Anbumani Ramadoss was born on October 8, 1968 in Pondicherry.He is the Cabinet Minister for Health and Family Welfare .He was elected to the Parliament as a member of the Rajya Sabha in 2004.He was a student of Madras Medical College and did his MBBS.He is a Doctor by profession. He belongs to the Pattali Makkal Katchi founded by his father Dr Ramadoss.He got married to Sowmiya on August 28, 1991.He has 3 daughters.He is the President of a environmental group called Pasumai Thyagam (Green Motherland).[1]
