Little L (2001) |
An Online Odyssey is a worldwide promo CD by the british band Jamiroquai. The disc was pressed in only 10 000 copies and is very rare today. Most of the discs were distributed through the UK, while a smaller number, about 1 000 were distributed throughout the world. Precisely, 100 in Spain, 50 in Belgium, and only 10 in the US. The rest of the discs were shipped to unknown locations throughout the world. The disc also came with a "Fan club" membership card with the same design as the CD cover. The disc was sent out to the first 10 000 fans who had applied for a poll on the official Jamiroquai website at a time before the release. The discs also contain a very elusive song called "Snooze You Lose" (Which, due to the veil of mystery surrounding it, is very popular among the fans who have heard about it or have listened to it), which was an outtake from the band's fourth album - Synkronized. The song was never performed live.
The CD also contains the 'short version' of the video for Black Capricorn Day. The 'short version' was only broadcast in Japan, and is a few seconds shorter than the more standard video. The video was not included on the 10 CDs shipped to the US.
