An Comunn Gàidhealach

An Comunn Gàidhealach ('The Gaelic Association') is an organisation in Scotland which seeks to promote Gaelic culture. Its focus lies on Gaelic literature, history, music and art. It was founded in Oban in 1891. It founded and runs the Royal National Mod. Its offices are in Inverness. Its Patron is Her Majesty the Queen.
The magazine of An Comunn Gàidhealach was originally known as Deò-ghrèine, but was later re-named An Gaidheal, and then Sruth.
An Comunn Gàidhealach should not be confused with Comunn na Gàidhlig.
