Amy Matysio

Amy Matysio is a Canadian theatre, TV & movie actress. Her notable appearances include such movies as The Unsaid, and Just Friends.

She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Regina and has studied at University of York in England. She was recently the recipient of the “Regina Business & Arts Awards 2005, Emerging Artist”. She has performed in several professional productions including, HONK!, Loud & Queer, On the Line (Globe Theatre), Over (As-Q Theatre Collective), The Shape of Things (Theatre Ecstasis), Measure for Measure, Hamlet, The Merry Wives of Windsor and Love’s Labor’s Lost (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), Pageant (On the Verge, National Arts Centre, Saskatchewan Playwrights Center, Hot House Theatre). Amy is an ACTRA and Canadian Actors' Equity Association member. She can be seen in the films Just Friends, The Tommy Douglas Story, The Risen, I Accuse, I’ll be Seeing You, The Unsaid, as well as the Television series Corner Gas, Incredible Story Studios and Renegadepress.com. Amy has attended several improv festivals across Canada in her 13 years of Improvisational theatre and she is an active member of General Fools Improvisational Theatre.
