The Amsterdam Stakes is a race for thoroughbred horses held in August at Saratoga Race Course in upstate New York. The Amsterdam is open to horses age three and up, willing to sprint six and a half furlongs on the dirt. It is a Grade II event and offers a purse of $150,000.
Prior to 1998, this race was run as the Screen King.
