Nong Ya Plong (Thai: หนองหญ้าปล้อง) is the district (Amphoe) in the northwestern part of Phetchaburi Province, central Thailand.

Nong Ya Plong was established as a minor district (King Amphoe) in 1972. Later it was upgraded to a full district.

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Ban Kha and Pak Tho of Ratchaburi Province, Khao Yoi, Ban Lat and Kaeng Krachan of Phetchaburi Province. To the west is Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar.

The district is subdivided into 4 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 31 villages (muban). There are no municipal areas (thesaban), and 3 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
