Buachet (Thai: บัวเชด) is a district (Amphoe) in the southeastern part of Surin Province, northeastern Thailand.

Tambon Buachet was upgraded to be a minor district (King Amphoe) on August 21st, 1978. At first a temporary district office was established at the base of the Patrol Police group of the area. It became a full district on July 27th, 1984.

Neighboring districts are (from the west clockwise) Sangkha of Surin Province, Khukhan, Phu Sing of Sisaket Province and Oddar Meancheay of Cambodia.

The district is subdivided into 6 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 68 villages (muban). Buachet itself has township (thesaban tambon) status and covers parts of the tambon Buachet. There are further 6 Tambon administrative organizations.
