[edit] Life Outside of Rugby League

In late 2005, Amos was one of 12 of the hottest players in the NRL that posed for the League Of Their Own 2006 calendar that was produced in the style of the famous Dieux du Stade calendars to raise money for the Koori Kids foundation.

In 2000, Amos debuted for the St George Illawarra Dragons against Auckland and scored a personal tally of 22 points (1 try, 9 goals) as the Dragons won 54-0. He still holds the record for most points in a match on debut.

In 2003, Amos became the leading try-scorer of the league, scoring 23 tries in 23 games that year. He was on fire!!!!

Amos has also reminded us a few times of the talent of his nephew Tye Koellner "Tye Koellner is my 15 year old nephew that has a hell of alot of talent.... really fast and a natural born try-scorer.... he reminds me of young Inglis" said Amos Roberts to one of our interviewers early last year. Matt Koellner (Former Cronulla Sharks Player) is also the uncle of Tye and said to our interviewers "his got skill but doesnt like to show it till he gets in a nail bitting situation" Tyes favoured and current position is Fullback or Wing.

Anyways Amos Roberts is a outgoing man and loves his footy and family
