[edit] Not Knitting?

OzzieB made the edit to say that knitting is not amigurumi, yet the crochet magazine article linked from the end of this entry says that amigurumi can be either knit or crochet. Amigurumi books I've seen in Japanese seem to include both knitting and crochet. What is the source for the crochet-only definition? Vowofsilence 20:32, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

After more than a week of no response from OzzieB about the changes I decided to return the information about knitting and flesh out this page further. This page needs better references but most of mine are Japanese books I can't even really read. Maybe on day someone who reads Japanese can add some sources and flesh this page out. In the meantime, it will have to be a half-baked worked in progress. Vowofsilence 01:35, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
