Amir Sbati

Amir Sbati (in Persian: امیر اثباتی), Art director, Born 1956, Tehran, Iran. He's B.A. in architecture from Tehran University, started his career with The Treasure (1984, M. Sadjadi). He’s one of the prominent and thoughtful art directors who has been nominated five times for receiving the prize from Intl. Fajr Film Festival, and was awarded for the films The Land of the Sun (1996, A. Darvish) and The May Lady (1997, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad). He works also as a graphist. He was the Chairman of the Association of Art Directors in Iranian cinema.
