Talk:American Chartered Bank

This entry needs to be reviewed, wikified, and have it's non-NPOV parts removed. As it stands now, the entry is rather unencyclopedic. - JogCon 06:54, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
- Everything apart from the NPOV seems to mostly be in order now. - JogCon 07:24, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
How do you add a stub into a category? Thanks for helping the clean up I'm trying to get all these techniques down pat. --Milan20 14:14, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
- I used the {bank-stub} to categorize it as a financial institution-related stub. However, for the sake of being encyclopedic, I suggest you take out the non-neutral point of view from the entry. Phrases such as: "Our success is founded on principles of accessibility, flexibility and responsiveness at every level of the organization. Whether serving private businesses or individual customers, American Chartered Bank stands ready to address your banking needs in a fashion that is timely, cost effective and adds value" feels like more of an advertisement than neutral information regarding the institution. - JogCon 00:55, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
Are the changes enough to warrant this stub cleaned up?
The introduction to the article still sounds like an advertisement. It says the bank is "distinguished by its focus on business owners, providing innovative products and services with exceptional customer service." Seriously, name ANY company that doesn't say it provides "innovative products and services with exceptional customer service." Seems to be biased language that isn't from an outside objective source that doesn't add much to the article.
Also, it would be nice if the article mentioned when the business was founded. Dugwiki 21:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
