This category is for tracking all of the players who play or have played for any of the teams in the American Hockey League. Individuals should not be placed in this category; instead, they should be placed under their team category.

There is a separate category for International Hockey League players. The IHL merged with the AHL after the 2000-2001 season so some players may be listed on the rosters of IHL teams rather than AHL teams. They can be found at Category:International Hockey League players.
