Amesbury School

Amesbury School is a co-educational independent Nursery, Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory day school in Surrey, England. Founded in 1870, Amesbury is the oldest preparatory school in the area. The main building was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens as a school (and as such is unique) and stands in a 34 acres estate in the heart of the Surrey countryside.

From its foundation the school was for boys only until the introduction of girls in 1990 under former headmaster Paul Cheetah. The school has 325 pupils as of 2006.
