American Record Pool was one of the first record pools to form in Southern California to support the promotion of dance music throughout clubs, radio, and retail. Founded in 1981 by Randy Cunningham and transferred to Jeff Fishman in 1985, the record pool published the nation's first DJ-published music magazine, TRAX.
