[edit] Plot
Visit Trinity, South Carolina, where some disturbing things are going on under the surface. Everyone is not as they seem... including local Sheriff Lucas Buck, who may not even be human. Buck's illegitimate son Caleb is orphaned when tragedy strikes the Temple household, but the Sheriff's sudden interest in the boy draws unwanted attention from the local doctor, Matt Crower. And the quick arrival of Caleb's cousin, Gail Emory, doesn't help matters. And if Caleb's dead sister Merlyn is to be believed, then Sheriff Buck is an incarnation of evil who must be stopped.
