America's Darlings is about a white female swing band that joins forces with a group of black and Hispanic musicians at a time when women were banned from playing male-dominated clubs. But after America becomes involved in World War II, the women suddenly play the hottest clubs in the country.
The film is set to be released in 2006, starring Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman through 20th Century Fox and Regency Enterpises.
