In 2001, she decided to return to the world of daytime television and took on the role of Mia Saunders on All My Children. Although she started as a front burner character, her romantic pairing with Dr. Joseph/Jake Martin Jr. (J. Since March 21, 2005, Heinle joined the cast as Victoria Newman on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless.
