Ambuletz is a song written by The Mars Volta found on their compilation album, A Missing Chromosome. The song was originally intended to be the final track of De-Loused in the Comatorium however it failed to make the album and only appeared on the Australian Tour Edition and the UK Import version as a bonus track. Instead, the 7 minute song was included on the b-side compilation album, A Missing Chromosome, however this compilation was only released to radio stations and the song has not received much attention.

[edit] Track Listing

Ambuletz appears as the 11th track on the Australian Tour Edition and UK import versions of De-Loused in the Comatorium after Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt and on A Missing Chromosone, it appears as the 5th track before The Bible and the Breathalyzer and after A Plague Upon Your Hissing.

[edit] Meaning

The song follows after Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt. Cerpin Taxt is now out of the coma and seems to be confronting God on what has happened to him yet as each song on the De-Loused in the Comatorium album the lyrics are cryptic and unlike the rest of the songs, Ambuletz is not mentioned in the storybook so it is harder to explain. However, it would seem the song is meant to show Cerpin Taxt's hostility towards God as, "I'll pretend you're not around, I'll forget you," so,"hush your mouth."
