Talk:Alternative society
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For reasons I cannot fathom this article was written in the past tense. This has now now been changed. As the last paragraph acknowledges, the alternative society is not dead, and to write as if it is is POV. LETs is but one source of thousands that can prove this. It is certainly a word I regularly used with many people in England when I was last there in 2003. It is bprobably in better sghape than ever. Otherwise a nice article, --SqueakBox 02:32, Feb 27, 2005 (UTC)
I have trouble with this phrase: "pseudoscientific theories such as pagan religion" What exactly does the author mean? It seems to be saying that pagan religion is an example of a pseudoscientific theory. This strikes me as unsubstantiated at best and at worst offensive to those who practice pagan religion. Try to imagine the uproar if someone used the phrase "pseudoscientific theories such as christianity" !! Since I really don't know what the author is trying to say, I don't have a suggestion for editing. Please clarify, someone.
