Altin Lala

Altin Lala (born November 18, 1975 in Tiranë) is an Albanian footballer.
The defensive midfielder began his football career at Dinamo Tirana and moved to Germany and Borussia Fulda in 1997. Since 1998 he has played for Hannover 96, where he helped win the promotion to the Bundesliga in 2001/2002. So far he has played 105 Bundesliga games. Since 2004 he has captained the team. His contract runs to 2007, however a clause says that he can leave for € 4,000,000 to a Champions League club.
For the Albanian national team he has got 45 caps and 2 goals (per July 1, 2006).
