Alternative for Change (Spanish: Alternativa por el Cambio - AC), formerly known as the political movement "Christian Alternative" was founded by dissidents from the Nicaraguan Party of the Christian Path (CCN). Edén Pastora is the presidential candidate in the Nicaraguan general election, 2006. His running mate is Mercedes Tenorio, a Nicaraguan nurse. Orlando Tardencilla, dissident of the CCN, is the third secretary of the National Assembly of Nicaragua and spokesperson of the AC Party.
